Dream Bingo Sponsored the Inside Soap Awards
The 20th annual Inside Soap Awards ceremony this year was sponsored by Dream Bingo as the operator has a partnership with the organisers of the event Hearst Magazine UK. This is hardly a surprise though. It is a well-known fact that people who like soap operas also play bingo and this claim is supported by real statistics not just prejudice. A survey conducted in 2014 by three popular sites from the Dragonfish family concluded that 63% of the group of respondents consisting of 2,500 bingo players aged between 25-60 said they like to watch soaps in addition to playing bingo or even while playing bingo. So it’s obvious that being a headline sponsor of the event, Dream Bingo attracted a lot of attention – marketing done right.
The ceremony took place on October 5th in London and the players at Dream Bingo were able to win a ticket and attend such a great event. The players had to ‘Guess the Soap Star’ in a special prize draw which was valid till the 11th of September. The ones guessed correctly, got 2 tickets for the event. Anthony Werkman, Marketing Director at Dream Bingo commented before the event: “We can’t wait to surprise a few of our lucky players, who will take their seats next to the stars of their favourite soaps on the night.”
